What You Will Receive:

The Go Kart Clutch kit comes complete with two set screws and a chain. It is recommended to always use a bolt and washer on the end of the crankshaft to securely hold the clutch onto the shaft.

How to Install a New Clutch on a Go Kart:

Follow these assembly instructions to install a centrifugal clutch with a 3/4" bore and 12 teeth for a #35 chain on your go-kart:

1. Remove the outer drive cover and loosen nuts on the engine mounting plate.
2. Take off the drive chain from the drive wheel sprocket.
3. Remove the clutch from the engine crankshaft and install the new clutch aligning the key inbore with the keyway.
4. Reinstall the bolt and washers to secure the clutch on the crankshaft.
5. Reattach the drive chain to the clutch and drive wheel sprocket.
6. Adjust the chain tension and tighten the nuts on the engine mounting plate.
7. Reinstall the outer drive cover and ensure all guards are in place for rider safety.
